Knotty Pine Music
Bands from all over the country stop into the Knotty and blow the roof off.
Musician David Nelson once proclaimed us a “psychedelic roadhouse.” Since the mid 1960’s the Knotty Pine has pushed the barriers and set the tone for Teton Valley’s live music scene. In the winter of 1999-2000 the town truly exploded when major acts James McMurtry, Vinyl, Yonder Mountain String Band, Robert Walters 20th Congress, and The B-Side Players played. The 165 capacity “old” Knotty would literally be shaking and, since all the chairs were outside, everyone was getting down. Over the next years world class musicians have enjoyed coming to our small but venerable music scene. A major remodel in 2008 upped the capacity without changing the “vibe” and Victor Idaho has never stopped rockin.
